Therapeutic Services Manager Position

The Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese is a system of schools committed to providing high-quality education in a rapidly changing world.

We are seeking collaborative and skilled professionals to deliver high-level therapeutic case management, consultation services, and proactive support for learning and teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) model to provide targeted interventions and support students with complex needs.
  • Manage a caseload of varying degrees of complexity, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
  • Develop and implement intensive therapeutic case management plans, collaborating with schools and other professionals to ensure student success.
  • Engage with families to support their child and strengthen home-school partnerships across different schools.
  • Liaise with external agencies and professionals to enhance student support and develop partnerships that promote student well-being.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated understanding of mental health needs and best practices in supporting children and young people.
  • Experience in complex case management, counseling families, children, and young people using evidence-based interventions.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers or general registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation, including clearance through the Working with Children Check.
