Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at UGL. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' sites and personnel. This is a critical role that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner
  • Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with client requirements
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct regular training and awareness programs to ensure staff are aware of security procedures and protocols

Requirements

  • Current Qld Security License (Both Unarmed and Monitoring)
  • Current Applied First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
  • Current Queensland Driver's License
  • Construction Industry White / Blue Card
  • Competent computer skills
  • The ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nightshift and weekends
  • Proven experience with administrative tasks
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • The ability to make sound judgement calls
  • The ability to work both in a team as well as autonomously
