Job Title: Resource Operations Leader
">OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Resource Operations Leader to oversee and support a team of surveyors and geologists at our Mt Arthur Coal mine in New South Wales, Australia.
This role requires a visible safety leader who can engage, develop, and coach business-wide site leaders. Key responsibilities include:
">Establishing a culture of care and providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching to the team;
Identifying, building, and developing production talent and capability across the team;
Ensuring accurate geological model development supporting the mine;
Supporting and delivering Week 0 Coal Planning and geotechnical engineering requirements;
Proactively identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives;
Communicating with other technical and operational staff members to ensure long-term productivity of the Mine.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership capability, communication skills, and a demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring technical teams in complex operational environments;
- Tertiary education in Geology, Geoscience, Geotechnical Engineering, or Mining Engineering;
- Proven track record in safety management and team building;
