Job Summary

This is an opportunity for an experienced Detailer to join our team at Smart Steel in Malaga.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Professionally detailing steel using Endurocad & Smartsteel software programs.
  • Capable of 3D modeling & using 3D software.
  • Liaising with customers & engineers to confirm projects for production.
  • Arranging production jobs ready for rollforming as per Smartsteel procedures.
  • Capable of reading client architectural & structural drawings.
  • Ensuring quality procedures and targets are being achieved.
  • Software training & meeting endurocad detailing standards.
  • Assisting with design solutions in collaboration with the design manager.
  • Assisting with material takeoffs & collaborating quotes for tenders.
  • Assisting with EnduroHub/rollformer requirements/errors on a need-by-need basis.
  • Liaising with builders & installers for site query assistance.
  • Competence in use of Endurocad & Sketchup 3D software is expected by the detailing team.
  • Experience in a manufacturing / fabrication environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Excellent customer service / negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound computer skills and familiar with MS Office.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Detailed knowledge of steel detailing and fabrication processes.
  • Proficiency in using Endurocad & Smartsteel software programs.
  • Strong understanding of 3D modeling & software.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
