About the Role

Precise metalwork requires great attention to detail, making this position ideal for a meticulous individual with experience in fabrication and welding.

The role involves fabricating various works using aluminium, stainless, and mild steel. Proficiency in both Mig and Tig welding is necessary, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fabrication of components and final products through welding, riveting, or other joining methods
  • Polishing, filing, sanding, TIG brushing, or cleaning assembled products

A successful candidate will possess a Fabrication Trade qualification, Certificate III in Engineering, or be partially completed in a Fabrication Apprenticeship. Excellent fabrication and welding skills are essential, along with a proven track record in operating similar roles within manufacturing environments.
