Occupational Therapist Opportunity

BaptistCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team working within the Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) Program. This role is based in Northern Sydney, Ryde, and surrounding areas.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy assessment and intervention to clients under Aged Care Funding. Your services will promote independence and restore functional independence, enabling clients to remain living at home.

About the Role
  • Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention to clients under Aged Care Funding
  • Develop individualized programs for aged care clients in the community
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve client outcomes
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Authority
  • Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients
  • Postgraduate experience working in various aged care services, including the community
  • Comprehensive understanding of health and well-living models
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
