Role Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and develop innovative mechanical systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering methods and manufacturing process requirements to design components, mechanisms and assemblies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and solve technical problems with instruments in production or in the field.
  • Implement quality processes to improve existing products.
  • Complete mechanical and functional testing of products including design, construction, programming and instrumentation set up of test rigs.
  • Generate technical documents including design descriptions, test plans and reports.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to root cause highly complex problems.
  • Experience in prototype building including design, construction, and programming to run functional and verification testing of products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience developing medical products.
  • Familiarity with ISO13485 and FDA QSR 820.
  • Knowledge of CAD tools.
