Lead Mechanical Commissioning Specialist Role

This position entails spearheading the commissioning of critical mechanical equipment, overseeing startup and testing processes, as well as developing maintenance plans and protocols.

  • Design and implement test scripts for mechanical systems
  • Participate in customer site FWT/FAT sessions
  • Coordinate vendor engagement and manage relationships
  • Conduct thorough equipment inspections to ensure build adherence to vendor specifications
  • Provide comprehensive documentation of equipment installation, testing, and delivery status
  • Support design specification reviews and vendor submittal evaluations
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control of mechanical equipment installation and startup
  • Assign and execute test commissioning tasks to the mechanical commissioning team
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing strict safety protocols among team members and customers

Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a mechanical or engineering field, or equivalent experience
  • At least two years of experience in commissioning and qualification within a regulated industry, or facility management/engineering
  • Proven expertise in data center construction/commissioning, mission-critical construction/commissioning, building commissioning, facilities, and mechanical equipment startup/troubleshooting
