Fyfe Pty Ltd is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing comprehensive engineering, environmental, planning and surveying services in Australia.

We work with Property & Infrastructure and Energy & Resources sectors to deliver high-quality solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.

The Energy and Resources Engineering Division delivers specialist mining, energy, hydrogen and renewable energy projects across the country.

These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, well leases, network gathering systems, major gas transmission pipelines, above ground processing facilities, as well as hydrogen and renewable energy facilities.

About this Role:

A senior mechanical engineer is sought to join our team to work on project portfolios across the energy and resources sectors.

This role requires an energetic team player who can lead projects, consult with clients, and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the mechanical behaviour and performance of our designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and project managers
  • Ensure that our products meet industry regulations and exceed client expectations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification
  • 10+ Years experience
  • Strong understanding of ASME B31.3 and AS 2885
  • Experience with Caesar and Autopipe programs
  • Proficient with EPDECOM
  • General understanding of CP systems
  • Experience within the Australian oil and gas or mining industry preferred
  • Strong analytical and technical report writing skills
  • Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and client requirements
  • A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality work
  • Commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace and the use of safe work systems
