About the Role

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Industrial Service Group in Gladstone, QLD. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced engineer to work on purposeful projects that support the future of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Innovation: Designing Instrumentation & Control systems for multiple industries in the engineering sector.
  • Client Partnering: Collaborating with our clients to provide engineering solutions at all stages of the project.
  • Mentoring & Coaching: Sharing knowledge and expertise with junior engineers and graduates in the team.
  • Multidisciplinary collaboration: Working in diverse disciplinary teams to provide integrated engineering solutions.
  • Training & Development: Building on existing knowledge and skillsets to further add value to your personal career, the team & the organisation's future.
Requirements:
  • You blend technical knowledge with empathy and big-picture thinking.
  • You're someone who thrives in dynamic environments, builds meaningful connections, and is motivated by purposeful work.
  • You'll also have: A relevant engineering degree and recognised by either RPEQ, RPEV, CPENG or RPENG. Instrumentation & Control systems design, Low Voltage design experience is desirable. Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a wide range of people In-depth knowledge of light industrial and heavy industrial projects Fundamental knowledge and application of key Australian Standards
