About the Role

">

The ESG Technical Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of sustainability strategies across our clients' supply chains.

This position requires strong technical knowledge and expertise in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management systems, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will work closely with our team of experts to provide advisory services, conduct audits, and develop training programs to enhance our clients' sustainability performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and action plans for clients across various industries

- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in ESG management systems

- Provide training and capacity-building programs for clients' staff and suppliers

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into business operations

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to ESG

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Environment, Law, Human Rights, or similar field

At least 10 years of experience in management system auditing against standards like RBA, BSCI, SMETA, SA8000, ISO14001, ISO14064, ISO14067, ISO45001

Excellent written and spoken English skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Full of responsibility, works with minimal supervision

Detail-oriented

Location

The role is based in Berlin or UK but open to remote working.

Travel overseas may be required depending on the business unit and client needs.

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
