We are seeking an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists in the Eurobodalla region.
About the RoleThis rewarding career opportunity involves delivering supports to families in partnership with them to achieve their goals. You will use evidence-informed best practice to tailor support options that fit each child and family.
- You will empower families, caregivers, and professionals by helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives using your coaching skills.
- You will connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose.
- You will keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, in the NDIA business system.
- You will guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Early Childhood/ Education
- Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues
- Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including the implementation of effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings
- Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme
This full-time or part-time position offers a competitive salary of up to $18,550 per year, free income tax through Salary Packaging, and the opportunity to purchase additional leave. You will also enjoy flexibility in working arrangements, including remote work options.
