Electrical Engineering Specialist

As an Electrical Engineering Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the safe and effective operation of facility assets, infrastructure, and systems. Your technical expertise will enable you to evaluate and apply relevant engineering knowledge to optimize performance, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough technical studies, analyses, and investigations to inform decision-making.
  • Develop detailed requirements for facility infrastructure, equipment, and system modifications, replacements, upgrades, or recapitalizations.
  • Design and develop innovative solutions for technical problems across the electrical engineering discipline.
  • Review and advise on proposed changes to facility infrastructure and systems.
  • Perform engineering calculations to support facility infrastructure operation and design.
  • Provide expert recommendations on system reliability, operation, maintenance, lifecycle management, and costing.
  • Evaluate operational systems and infrastructure for optimization and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Desirable Skills:
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field.
Experience and Skills:

Familiarity with power generation, distribution, load management, and data center power systems is highly desirable. A minimum of one year of experience with building management and control systems, facilities operation, and maintenance is required. Project management and leadership experience is also beneficial.

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Requirement:

All personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with site EHS requirements, including safe work practices, reporting unsafe acts, and adhering to procedures.
