At CPB Contractors, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Lawyer | Legal Counsel to join our Commercial team on a permanent basis. This role will support our team with the delivery of expert legal services on our iconic construction projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing commercially relevant advice to our project team in the formation, review and closing of contracts.
  • Drafting and developing tender qualifications that address project risks for new or changing scopes of work.
  • Supporting the resolution of contractual issues that arise on projects during delivery.
  • Negotiating contract amendments with clients, joint venture partners and external lawyers.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 7 years PQE with a strong focus on front-end construction contracts work. You will have a Bachelor of Law (LLB or equivalent) and be qualified to practice as a solicitor in an Australian jurisdiction. Your excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with our project teams and stakeholders.
