Lead Network Planning Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Network Planning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading comprehensive planning processes to assess network capabilities and develop network solution and contingency plans.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualification and experience in Engineering, with expertise in contemporary electricity network planning, asset management practices, and overarching markets. Additionally, they should have proficiency in using electricity network analysis tools or relevant software, as well as programming skills in languages such as Python.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver economic and strategic solutions to keep the network ahead in a rapidly changing energy landscape.
  • Develop viable solutions and augmentation strategies to address network constraints.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including leading initiatives such as Regulatory Investment Tests and Electricity Distribution Price Reset proposals.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification and experience in Engineering.
  • Experience in contemporary electricity network planning, asset management practices, and overarching markets.
  • Proficiency in using electricity network analysis tools or relevant software.
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python.
