Lead Game Designer

At PlaySide Studios Ltd, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Game Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for leading the design process and ensuring the game vision is implemented across all feature levels of the game.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a design team to drive the implementation of game features and systems.
  • Own the high-level design and ensure cross-functional alignment and actionable designs.
  • Partner with engineering to develop content creation tools and frameworks for content creation and gameplay flow.
  • Identify opportunities to utilize data for game tuning and inform design decisions.
  • Oversee prototyping, ensure regular feedback, and support the pitching of new ideas within the studio's framework.
Requirements:
  • A passion for leading the designs of ambitious projects.
  • Proven experience in shipping successful game titles in a Lead capacity.
  • Proven excellent understanding of game design principles with multiple years of experience as a game designer.
  • Strong desire to create exceptional experiences for players.
  • Well-rounded understanding of the game development process and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
