We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our Operations & Maintenance team at Tindal RAAF Base in NT. Multiple roles are available.

This opportunity allows you to work in the Australia Defence environment to support national security requirements.

The Role Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment.
  • Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment.
  • Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment.
  • Support subcontracted work packages as required.
  • Occasional regional travel to various sites throughout NT.

Maintenance Trades (Mechanical)

Level 1 - $45.57 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)

Level 2 - $49.05 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)

Level 3 (Dual Trade) - $52.55 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade qualified (mechanical) with relevant post-trade experience.
  • Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas.
  • Experience working within the defence fuels network or defence industry will be highly regarded.
  • Confined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regarded.
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything you do.
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance.
