Job Overview

The Air Freight Export Manager is a critical role that involves leading and managing daily operational activities within the Air Freight Export team. The primary goal is to drive cost minimisation and gross profit maximisation on every shipment.

To achieve this, the successful candidate will be responsible for proactively monitoring operational performance and implementing process improvements. This includes monitoring productivity and service quality targets, retaining key accounts, and effectively leading and allocating resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage daily operational activities
  • Monitor operational performance and implement process improvements
  • Manage customer relationships and resolve operational issues
  • Coordinate with carriers and suppliers to maintain high levels of supplier performance

Successful candidates will possess strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders. A key performance indicator (KPI) in this role is achievement of productivity and service quality targets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in air freight export management and be familiar with industry best practices. They must also be able to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and lead teams to deliver exceptional results.
