Job Title: Cemetery Mowing Team Supervisor

Job Description:

As a Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team to maintain and enhance council-controlled cemeteries. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.

  • Supervise a team of mowing staff
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Complete service requests as required

You will be responsible for ensuring the team adheres to safety protocols and procedures while completing tasks efficiently and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Lawn Maintenance (Cemetery experience highly regarded)
  • Valid Manual Drivers Licence
  • White Card
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
