About the Role:

We are seeking a diligent and resourceful Logistics Coordinator to oversee all inbound and outbound deliveries.

This role involves planning, scheduling, loading, and unloading vehicles while adhering to safety policies and procedures. The coordinator will also address unexpected issues with the DC Supervisor to prevent delays in deliveries.

  • Ability to comprehend and follow OH&S policy and procedures;
  • Responsible for all DC inbound and outbound transport movements;
  • Safely loading and unloading vehicles;
  • Communicating with drivers, stores, and Support office to ensure on-time delivery;
  • Monitoring delivery schedules and updating transportation systems and records;
  • Arranging timeslots for pick-up and delivery requirements;
  • Liaising with transport providers to resolve any delivery queries and issues;
  • Able to work cohesively within a team environment;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities;
  • Maintain accurate documentation and freight data to assist with transport processes;

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a logistics or transportation role;
  • Current forklift license;
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently;
  • Team orientated;
  • Excellent communication skills;
