About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Governance and Corporate Counsel professional to join our team as a Legal Writer.

This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer looking to transition from practice into a content-focused legal career while staying at the forefront of legal developments relevant to corporate counsel.

As a Legal Writer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, up-to-date practical legal content, including guidance notes, checklists, precedents, legal updates, and other tools.

You will work closely with Relationship Managers to build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years PQE, Australian qualification, recent experience in an Australian mid to top tier law firm or in-house counsel role, and strong communication and plain-English writing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high quality practical legal content.
  • Prepare and maintain practically-focused content and resources.
  • Support Relationship Managers to build brand awareness and influence market share.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years PQE.
  • Australian qualified lawyer.
  • Recent experience in an Australian mid to top tier law firm or in-house counsel role.
  • Strong practice background or keen interest in governance and/or corporate counsel.
  • Excellent communication and plain-English writing skills.
