Job Opportunity: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of reliable and scalable systems. As a Principal Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our systems maintain the highest standards of service outcomes for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and systems engineering. They will possess strong experience with modern software development practices, including tools such as Git for source control, and CI/CD tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy or similar.

A successful candidate will also have extensive knowledge of Linux internals, networking, containers, and troubleshooting. They will be able to lead teams of engineers driving outcomes using observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, AppDynamics.

In addition to technical expertise, we are looking for a candidate who can communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and influence them on modern best practices for improving reliability throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and lead a culture of data-driven reliability, monitoring, and automation aligned to SRE principles.
  • Design, develop, test, and support applications and systems.
  • Manage and scale distributed systems in a public, private, or hybrid cloud environment.
  • Create and develop tools required to support the operational management (including security) of software applications and systems.
  • Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures, and methods, using software engineering to develop scalable and sustainable improvements.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in at least one programming language (e.g., Golang, Python).
  • Strong public cloud experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving skills.
