About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented engineer to develop system layouts for complex BHS and parcel solutions projects. Collaborating with sales and engineering teams, you will ensure that system designs are optimized for safety, efficiency, and functionality.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to define and optimize system designs for BHS and parcel handling systems.
  • Develop 3D conveyor models based on functional designs, incorporating input from Mechanical, Controls, and Electrical Engineering teams.
  • Analyze layout options and identify opportunities for improvement related to safety, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
  • Create detailed models of system components, including mechanical and electrical elements, ensuring that designs meet high standards for quality and performance.
  • Coordinate with other teams to manage building interfaces and incorporate survey data into system designs.
  • Lead a team of layout engineers, if applicable, ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time and to required standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Additionally, you should possess advanced proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD software, such as ACAD, Navisworks. A strong understanding of material handling systems, particularly in BHS and parcel handling solutions, is also essential. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations, as well as safety regulations relevant to system layouts, is highly desirable.

Strong analytical and design skills, with the ability to optimize layouts for operational efficiency and safety, are also essential.
