Highly Skilled Backend Engineer Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to fill this role in Melbourne.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with backend software engineering practices, including security and testing.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying web applications in AWS/Cloud ecosystems, working with relational (Postgres) and non-relational (AWS DynamoDB) databases, and leveraging experience with object store services (AWS S3), application integration services (SNS, SQS, EventBridge), and microservices.
Candidates must also be familiar with security best practices, including OWASP Top 10, HTTPS, and cryptography, and design applications based on AWS well-architected principles and 12-factor apps.
Bonus points will be given to candidates with AWS Associate/Professional Level Certification, exposure to DevSecOps practices, experience with front-end languages like Reactjs and TypeScript, passion for automation and No/Low Code tools, and experience working in fintech startups.
Required skills include extensive experience with GoLang, proficiency in backend software engineering practices, strong communication and collaboration skills, experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and ISO27001, SOC2, and SaaS environments.
