Electric Power Technician

As an Electric Power Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and safety of our equipment. Your responsibilities will include performing upgrades to meet Australian standards, maintaining and fitting out local options for our Electric Drive Dump Trucks, as well as assisting with electrical service, maintenance, and fit-outs on other product lines.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a workshop-based Electric Power Technician to join our team in Perth. Based in Forrestdale, this permanent role will enable you to access OEM training while building a long-term career in a global company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elevate the HCA Safety Culture by embracing, displaying, and driving it from within - safety takes precedence over everything else
  • Hold relevant Australian (or Australian-recognized) Electrical trade qualifications with a High Voltage Switching Ticket
  • Demonstrate experience in Mining, Earthmoving, and/or Construction equipment electrical fault finding & diagnosis
  • Exhibit the ability to recognize basic product quality deviations/faults
  • Possess good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
