About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Employment Placement Specialist to join our team at Workskil Australia Ltd. As an Employment Placement Specialist, you will play a critical role in facilitating the placement of willing job seekers into long-term sustainable employment opportunities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing comprehensive reverse marketing of willing job seekers to local businesses
  • Generating opportunities for job seekers through business development and marketing initiatives
  • Assisting in meeting placement and target outcomes through strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitating group sessions at sites, including information and job matching sessions
  • Proactively engaging with employers to arrange further training, wage subsidies, and other requirements to successfully place job seekers into employment
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, labour market trends, and recruitment strategies to offer valuable insights and recommendations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current driver's license and willingness to travel to other sites as required
  • A minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development, or willingness to obtain
  • Sound knowledge of the local labour market and the needs and expectations of employers
  • Experience in sales or telemarketing in a service industry, highly regarded
  • Intermediate to high-level administrative skills, including the ability to type at a minimum of 30 wpm
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with job seekers and employers
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • A results-oriented mindset, with a passion for helping individuals achieve their career goals
