Employment Placement Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Employment Placement Specialist to join our team at Workskil Australia Ltd. As an Employment Placement Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating the placement of willing job seekers into long-term sustainable employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive reverse marketing of willing job seekers to local businesses
- Generate opportunities for job seekers through business development and marketing
- Assist in meeting placement and target outcomes through strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate group sessions at sites, including information and job matching sessions
- Proactively engage with employers to arrange further training, wage subsidies, and other requirements to successfully place job seekers into employment
- Coordinate with relevant managers to assist in meeting larger employment initiatives
Requirements:
- Hold a current driver's licence and have the willingness to travel to other sites where required
- Have a minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or willingness to obtain
- Show sound knowledge of the local labour market and the needs and expectations of employers
- Experience in sales or telemarketing in a service industry highly regarded
- Have intermediate to high-level administrative skills, including the ability to type at a minimum of 30 wpm
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with job seekers and employers
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for helping individuals achieve their career goals
