Support Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will provide holistic, trauma-informed support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and out in the community.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting people with psychosocial disability, neurodivergence, or mental health challenges. They will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and make sound decisions.

Key responsibilities of the role include providing 1:1 support, assisting with daily routines, and supporting emotional wellbeing and social connection. The successful candidate will also be required to maintain accurate records and report as necessary.

  • Providing 1:1 support to participants in their homes and the community
  • Assisting with daily routines, including personal care, domestic support, and community access
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing, engagement, and social connection
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting as necessary
  • Working collaboratively with support coordinators, allied health professionals, and families

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver's licence + own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Access to a computer with internet for record-keeping purposes
