Clinical Nurse Specialists advance clinical competence within mental health nursing practice, practicing according to evidence-based nursing and latest contemporary practices in nursing. They model and influence a high standard of clinical practice among Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Graduates, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will develop and deliver training and education, provide support and guidance to peers, patients, and their families, working within the Recovery Model of Care, while clinically and professionally operating within a Trauma Informed Care and Customer Service Approach framework.
This exciting opportunity requires strong business acumen to promote the service and drive growth, establishing professional working relationships with multidisciplinary members of the team and all other key stakeholders.
Maintaining a safe work environment, you will communicate clearly and document legibly, allocating patients primarily on day shifts within Monday to Friday business hours.
To be successful, applicants must be registered with AHPRA, hold a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) degree, and possess postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field of specialty.
