Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for billings, reconciliations, and supplier invoice management, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, developing your skills and expertise in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Billing customers on a timely basis and recording payments
  • End-of-month reconciliation and analysis
  • Collating supplier invoices for regular payment runs and streamlining payment processes
  • Reconciling intercompany and subsidiary accounts
  • Assisting with monthly reporting and financial analysis
  • Preparing project progress reports and claims

About the Team

You will be working closely with our Financial Controller and a team of experienced accountants and bookkeepers. We encourage career progression and longevity within the organization, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a Degree in Accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in local Australian finance and accounting. You should be a strong team player, ambitious to learn and progress, resilient, and have a good sense of humour.
