Heavy Vehicle Technician

Our company operates a fleet of commercial vehicles and construction equipment, providing sales, service, spare parts, and finance to clients in various industries. We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician/Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards. They will also be required to diagnose and repair complex problems with these vehicles.

Key Requirements:
  • Trade Certificates for Heavy Diesel Automotive (or equivalent)
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions
  • Accurately complete job service reports & paperwork
  • Commitment to safe work practices
  • Commitment to long-term employment and its opportunities
  • Completion OEM technical training programs
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Current NSW driver's licence
  • Strong work ethics, punctuality and reliability
  • Ability to maintain a 100% work efficiency
  • Ability to work on a range of light, medium & heavy vehicles
  • Ability to work offsite if and when required
  • Ability to work overtime & Saturdays, as required
  • Own tools (specialised tooling provided)
