We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning and Teaching Leader to join our team at Annunciation School.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading and developing teaching and learning programs that promote academic excellence and Catholic values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies that align with the school's curriculum and Catholic identity.
  • Lead and support teachers in their professional development, providing coaching and mentoring to enhance teaching practices.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to design and deliver engaging and inclusive learning programs that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, using data to inform teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and the wider school community to promote a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and developing teaching and learning programs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teachers and students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a focus on student-centered learning.
  • Strong understanding of Catholic education and the ability to promote Catholic values in the classroom.
  • Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and a valid Criminal Record check.
