We are currently accepting applications for our annual on-site practical legal training program in partnership with The College of Law. This 18-week program provides invaluable practical experience while working directly as a Graduate Lawyer.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting lawyers with legal research and case preparation.
- Drafting legal documents such as briefs, memos and contracts.
- Conducting legal research and analysis.
- Reviewing and summarising case files and legal materials.
- Attending client meetings, court hearings and other legal proceedings.
- Providing administrative support and managing case files.
Successful candidates will be driven and ambitious individuals holding a relevant tertiary legal qualification and eligible for admission as a solicitor in the relevant jurisdiction.
Additional skills required include:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
- Tech-savvy, comfortable working in an electronic document management environment.
