Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for the inspection, design, and budgeting of building services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance on the design, operation, maintenance, upgrade, replacement, and installation of mechanical building services.
  • Review and provide feedback on design, tender, and as-built documentation to ensure proposals align with requirements and comply with building codes and standards.
  • Design and develop concept, detailed design, and/or tender documentation for upgrades, replacements, or new installations of mechanical building services.
  • Conduct comprehensive site audits nationwide, documenting existing conditions and providing recommendations for upgrades or replacements of equipment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on project implementation and delivery.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in engineering design, auditing, and project delivery.
  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong analytical thinking and engineering judgment, with the ability to think creatively in designing solutions.
  • Industry-recognised accreditation (e.g., CPEng) is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in client service and report writing.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to liaise with all levels within the organisation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • A team-first mindset and willingness to advance your own and others' growth.
  • Full Australian driver's license, as some travel may be required.
  • Full Australian working rights.
