Café & Kitchen Manager


Overview

This is a hands-on role for an experienced Café & Kitchen Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our café, focusing on quality and exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the daily café and kitchen operations with a focus on quality, presentation and taste
  2. Prepare and serve food and beverages to a high standard in a fast-paced environment
  3. Lead, train and support your team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets
  4. Handle cash management, stock control and monitor daily sales performance
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards, including food safety and hygiene
  6. Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role within a hospitality or café environment
  • Current Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen operations, café service and menu planning
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills to effectively manage a busy team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
