About your opportunity:

Working with the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG), this role will provide oversite, coordination, and leadership in the delivery of strategy and innovation within the MHSG. The incumbent will provide expertise in the coordination and management of strategic service development opportunities and projects identified through HHS and statewide funding opportunities. The position will work in consultation with MHSG Senior Management Team (SMT) to develop and implement strategies that optimise service wide mental health care delivery.

Working alongside Program Managers and Clinical Directors, reporting the Service Group Director, this role requires a nurse with high level of operational expertise with advanced analytical, strategic and project management skills to innovate and lead contemporary care delivery within MHSG. It would be expected that this role provides backfill, where possible to the Nursing Director/ Program Manager roles.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications (Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent) and proof of registration (AHPRA)

This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.

Possession of class C drivers' licence.

Probation period may apply.

Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
