About our Darling Downs CampusOur campus in Hilbert is a K-10 co-educational Christian school with a spacious, modern campus set in peaceful, semi-rural surroundings. The school has a strong learning culture and is experiencing rapid growth, with secondary year groups being added each year until K-12 is fully catered for. We are seeking staff who align with our vision and culture.

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Christian Grounds Maintenance Officer to join our property maintenance team, providing groundskeeping and property maintenance services. This part-time role (45.6 hours per fortnight) is expected to start soon.

Duties:

  • Landscaping work
  • Maintaining clean and tidy school grounds
  • Routine trade and non-trade maintenance and repairs
  • Providing feedback for planning and development of school grounds
  • Inventory management for grounds supplies and materials
  • Assisting with setting up significant school events
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

  • A valid driving license (Bus driving is desirable)
  • An authentic Christian faith
  • Friendly interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Reliability and punctuality for timely service
