We are seeking a skilled Lifting Gear Inspector to join our team. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing and maintaining new and existing lifting, rigging and height safety equipment to ensure it is safe for use and compliant with Australian Standards on behalf of our clients.

Job Description

This is a critical role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills. You will be the main point of contact for our clients, visiting their sites across the Hunter to conduct inspections and provide expert advice.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the lifting and rigging industry, with a strong understanding of Australian Standards and regulations. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work autonomously and have a strong attention to detail.

As a Lifting Gear Inspector, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting and testing lifting gear to ensure it meets Australian Standards;
  • Repairing and maintaining lifting gear as required;
  • Conducting site visits to inspect and test lifting gear on behalf of clients;
  • Providing expert advice to clients on lifting gear selection and usage.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in the lifting and rigging industry;
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards and regulations;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Current Driver's Licence.
