About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lifting Gear Inspector to join our team. As a Lifting Gear Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that lifting and height safety equipment is safe for use and compliant with Australian Standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the lifting and rigging industry, with a strong ability to develop client relationships and work autonomously. You will be confident in your problem-solving and time-management skills, with the ability to work at heights and comfortably use technology from a tablet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, repair, install and maintain new and existing lifting, rigging and height safety equipment
  • Ensure all equipment is safe for use and compliant with Australian Standards
  • Develop strong client relationships and work autonomously
  • Problem-solve and manage time effectively
Requirements
  • Experience in the lifting and rigging industry
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships and work autonomously
  • Problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Confidently work at heights
  • Comfortable with technology and working from a tablet
  • Current Drivers Licence
Preferred Qualifications
  • LEEA Team Card Holder
  • Industry-related training certificates
  • Forklift high-risk work licence
  • Safe working at heights ticket
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • EWP ticket
