Salary Package

We offer a competitive salary package of $95,325 per annum, which includes 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%. Additionally, we provide a range of health and wellbeing programs, including physical health reimbursement subsidies, free flu vaccinations, mental health programs, and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) services.

Job Description

">

This role involves providing strategic financial planning and management advice to support the City's Divisions in achieving their goals and objectives. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining cost accounting methodologies and systems, as well as providing technical expertise in budgeting, management accounting, and financial reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field;
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial planning and management, preferably in a local government or commercial setting;
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, management accounting, and financial reporting principles and practices;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders; and
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop clear and concise recommendations.
