Key Leadership Role for Technical Team
">The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Team Lead to join our Air Battle Management portfolio, supporting the Wakulda Spiral Sustainment Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, execution, and personnel management of a Wakulda Capability Enhancement Team. The team will deliver complex capability enhancements to the Air Battle Management portfolio.
About the Roles
We are looking for a dynamic leader who possesses strong technical leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a focus on building successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Our leaders are part of a wide community that seeks and drives continuous improvement, develops and executes project and process plans, and develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute project plans to deliver complex capability enhancements to the Air Battle Management portfolio.
- Foster, develop, and sustain cross-functional teams as required by the business to support current and future objectives.
- Manage the development, delivery, and sustainment of Air Battle Management products.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize projects and initiatives.
- Drive and passion to grow capability, mentor, and coach teammates.
Requirements
- Passion for establishing and fostering positive team cultures.
- Demonstrated technical leadership qualities, including the ability to lead teams of technical personnel delivering technical solutions to our customers.
- High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Formal Project Management, Agile, Engineering, Business or Management qualifications is desired, however, prior experience will be considered.
- Experience in the estimating, planning, managing and reporting progress of technical work scope is desirable.
- Command and Control systems domain knowledge, systems engineering experience, and other technical skills as relevant to each position will also be considered.
