As a team lead, you will manage a group of engineers as they build tooling and engage with other teams to deliver on this promise, enabling rapid delivery of high-quality software.
You will support your direct reports in becoming excellent Xeros, empower them to deliver high-quality software to customers, and foster the growth of a world-class engineering culture.
What you'll do Lead a team of engineers, supporting their growth and engagement, helping them reach their potential Ensure your team's delivery pipeline flows predictably and sustainably, raising and addressing blockers as needed Ensure accurate, fit-for-purpose, and sustainable delivery systems within your team, including providing informed estimates, delivery forecasting, capacity planning, and reporting Understand and advocate for Xero engineering standards and practices, facilitating an engineering approach that is compliant and fosters excellent engineering We are looking for someone who has Experience managing software delivery and/or teams using Lean-Agile techniques Excellent understanding of modern software delivery practices and lifecycle Proven ability to balance individual needs with business needs Experience building high-performing, innovative, and experimental teams that learn through failure A background in software or infrastructure, with a basic understanding of modern CI/CD practices Why Xero?
