Foreign Currency Exchange Specialist - Part-Time Opportunity

We are a rapidly growing travel currency and payment service solutions provider expanding our operations across Australia and New Zealand. With multiple store locations thriving in key markets, we are now seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team at Brisbane Airport.

This exciting role involves providing exceptional customer service to international travelers by facilitating foreign currency exchange transactions in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to build strong customer relationships, contribute to sales activities and marketing projects, and work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Servicing customer inquiries and securing foreign currency deals effectively
  • Participating in sales activities and marketing initiatives
  • Building strong customer rapport and repeat business through excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Daily branch activities and administration, ensuring seamless operations
  • Continuous work against money laundering and adherence to current regulations and procedures

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience
  • A driven and solution-oriented approach to sales
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Flexibility to work at both locations
  • Responsibility and attention to detail
  • Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suites
  • Fluency in English, with other languages advantageous
  • Ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
