Administration Assistant

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with exceptional customer service skills to join our supportive and passionate team as an Administration Assistant.

About the Role

This is a vital role that will be the welcoming face and voice of our organisation. As our Administration Assistant, you will ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently by managing appointment bookings, cancellations, and patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a warm and professional greeting to clients in person and over the phone.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
  • Utilise expertise in allied health, including NDIS, DVA, HCP, and WorkCover, to facilitate efficient service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve organisational goals and uphold service excellence standards.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organised, and inviting.
About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Possesses prior experience in administration within the allied health or medical sector (an advantage).
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Is a proactive problem-solver who can work independently and within a team.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can juggle multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanour.
  • Is proficient with computer systems and software (experience with medical/health software is an advantage).
  • Has a genuine interest in helping people and contributing to a supportive team environment.
  • Shows commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
