About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Pet Health Professional to join our team. As a key member of our operations leadership group, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our pet insurance business.

Your primary focus will be on managing routine and complex claims, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. Your expertise in veterinary medicine will be instrumental in advising the team on pet health issues and making informed claims decisions.

As a subject matter expert, you will provide authoritative guidance on clinical notes and medical records, ensuring accurate and consistent claims assessment. You will also design and deliver educational programs and workshops to improve the team's understanding of clinical treatment and conditions for cats and dogs.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills, influencing and developing the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with our stakeholders to develop and deliver technical content, promoting our values and standards within the organization.

Requirements
  • Qualified Vet (BVSc or DVM), with at least 3 years' experience working in a Veterinary practice
  • Ability to work well within our team culture
  • Excellent people leadership skills
  • Able to influence, develop, and coach to ensure a positive customer experience
