Examination Team Leader
Job Overview:The Examination Team Leader plays a crucial role in providing strategic advice on operational matters and expertise across all aspects of the student lifecycle.
This position is responsible for managing, planning, and executing all University examinations to ensure excellence in image and reputation.
The role reports to the Head of Student Lifecycle and has six direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, schedule, manage, and deliver end-of-term examination sittings, including supplementary examinations
- Lead the development and implementation of the digital assessment strategy
- Provide quality support and advice regarding the effective use, capabilities, and constraints of digital assessment tools
- Develop efficient work practices and assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, such as academic and professional staff
- Provide reports, statistics, and analysis, and make recommendations to senior management
- Lead, support, and coach the team to provide excellent customer-focused services
- Excellent organizational skills
- Alignment with UNSW's vision
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing examination events
- Proven ability to exercise initiative, think strategically, and creatively
- Experience with digital assessment tools
- Strong track record of managing difficult situations effectively
- Ability to influence senior management and stakeholders
