Expert Civil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of State Civil Lead.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality consulting services on projects, leading development, design, and management of BG&E services across small to large, multidisciplinary projects in the SA market. They will also provide technical leadership in the civil scope on projects, develop practical technical solutions for clients, promote BG&E's Civil capability at local industry events and conferences, and coordinate with other engineering disciplines and participate in interdisciplinary workshops and risk assessments as required.
Requirements- Tertiary qualification / Engineering degree; membership of Engineers Australia or equivalent recognised for mutual recognition.
- Ideally 8 to 12 years of relevant Civil Engineering experience in an engineering consultancy.
- Advanced technical proficiency in civil engineering, analysis, modelling, and interpretation across various project types.
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide expert advice on civil engineering matters to clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress against project milestones.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
