Veterinary Nurse Anaesthesia Specialist

The role of Veterinary Nurse Anaesthesia Specialist involves a diverse caseload across various services, allowing for the opportunity to continually develop skills in anaesthesia and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse caseload across various services, including Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Medicine, Oncology and Diagnostic Imaging.
- Support and advance all anaesthesia services across these specialties.
- Prepare patients for anaesthesia or sedation, including IV placement and administering premeds.
- Assist with the safe induction of anaesthesia.
- Confidently manage anaesthetised patients ranging from stable to critical.
- Maximise patient safety by utilising multiparameter monitoring equipment and react quickly and attentively to any changes.
