Job Description

We are seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to join our multidisciplinary team, providing high quality patient care and assisting specialist veterinarians in various tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing skills and experience, with the ability to learn new skills quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with diagnostic procedures
  • Pre-operative processes
  • Setting up theatre
  • Providing surgical assistance
  • Anaesthesia & analgesia
  • Managing central sterile supply
  • Monitoring procedures
  • Post-operative care
  • Administration and maintenance tasks

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in nursing or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in general practice
  • Good client and staff relationship skills
  • Ability to focus well and thrive in a busy work environment
