
Transformative Electrification Specialist

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess a unique blend of technical and business acumen. The role involves promoting comprehensive portfolios of electrification solutions to transmission and distribution utilities, industries, EPCs, and end customers.
- You will collaborate with sales teams on promoting digital and service portfolios, focusing on installed base penetration (IB) and selling the entire service product portfolio in collaboration with other service units.
- You will call on existing and prospective customers to identify opportunities and solicit orders, analyzing customers' needs to recommend solutions that best meet their requirements.
- You will be responsible for pre-bid queries and post-bid customer clarification to ensure positive customer experiences throughout the whole sales process.
- You will participate in negotiations with customers on technical, contractual, and commercial content of proposals, providing information on risk review processes and participating in risk review assessments as needed.
- You will analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the sales organization, performing win/lost proposal analysis, identifying potential causes, and recommending future actions.
- You must hold a diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with work authorization that would permit you to work in Australia.
- More than three years of sales experience in the energy industry, specifically in areas of electrification projects, transmission and distribution, or utility/transmission developer experience.
- A proven track record of client engagement in the electrical industry, specifically transformers, with previous experience or knowledge of transformer service, maintenance, commissioning, repair, and spare parts highly considered.
- Familiarity with digital solutions for transformers, especially exposure to comprehensive portfolios of electrification solutions desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with strategic business acumen and resilience in sales pursuits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective customer engagement.
